Sondra Goldschein is the executive director of the Campaign for a Family Friendly Economy (CFFE), where she leads national efforts to build power for working families and advance policies to improve economic security. These include child care, elder care, paid leave and health care. She also runs CFFE PAC, which focuses on electing candidates who support this policy agenda.

 

A seasoned advocate, Sondra spent two decades at the ACLU, where she built state-based advocacy capacity, served as Deputy National Political Director and helped lead campaigns that engaged voters directly on fundamental rights, including a pivotal effort to protect reproductive freedom that reinforced her belief in the power of issue-driven advocacy.
 

Her passion for family-friendly policies is rooted in her own caregiving journey — balancing a demanding career while raising two children and supporting a parent through serious illness. She credits her community and access to paid leave with making that balance possible, and she is committed to ensuring that all families have the same tools and support to thrive.
