WASHINGTON, DC – Today, in a stunning betrayal of American families, congressional Republicans voted one of the largest transfers of wealth from the poorest Americans to the wealthiest into law. The legislation  now heads to the White House for President Donald Trump’s inevitable  signature. In response, Campaign for a Family Friendly Economy Executive Director Sondra Goldschein released the following statement:

“To the members who supported this bill: get ready to own this greedy  and cruel highway robbery of working families for the rest of your  political career. You don’t get to hijack health care and food from  millions of people and ever forget it.”
